Superbad to Superhero
Outside multiplexes across the globe comic book fans and Superhero enthusiasts have begun lining the streets to meet the new Man of Steel, Iron Man. However, many will leave the darkened theatres wondering where their next spandex-clad fix will come from. Yeah this summer still has The Dark Knight, Hellboy II, The Incredible Hulk, Hankcock, and (shudder) The Punisher: Warzone to come, and next year The Spirit and Watchmen will Biff! Zap! and Pow! their way onto our screens. But fans will still be asking in the style of America’s best President, fictional or otherwise, ‘What’s Next?’, the greedy beggars.
Well fear not, Evan Goldberg – the camera shy half of the pair that brought you Superbad - through the medium of Empire Online has answered that question. Click the title above to read the full story, on Goldberg, and America’s funnyman du jour Seth Rogen’s two Super-projects. The first The Green Hornet sounds like its going to be an interesting take on the early days of the Superhero and his put-upon sidekick Kato, while the second project The Boys looks set to finally answer the question ‘Who Watches the Watchmen?’
For now fanboy’s can rest easy the mainline of heroes looks set to continue for some time to come.
