Watch out 'The Dark Knight' here comes 'Batman: Gotham Knight'

We're extra excited about the release of 'The Dark Knight' this summer and that's the way Warner Brothers want to keep us with this promo of a series of Animated Batman stories to be released in the build to Nolan's next installment in the Bat franchise. You could consider this to be very expensive 'marketing lube'. Expect several Batman Anime stories akin to the Ani-Matrix a few years back. While the Ani-Matrix ultimately felt jarring due to it's radically varying takes on the universe, the results where at least interesting. Lets hope 'Batman: Gotham Knight' will be a beautiful addition to the universe like Genndy Tartakovsky's 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' was to Lucas' franchise.
