Golden Globe Gongs Are Given Out

The Goldern Globe Results are our and before we give you the results below here's a list of things we learned.

1. There were quite a few surprises given than nobody really knew what the front runners were this year. Nobody knew what was ahead of the pack.
2. We now know that Slumdog Millionaire is ahead of the pack though it could fall back in the coming weeks.
3. Kate Winslet now has serious momentum and should at least pick up one Oscar and may even challege Angelina for the lead gong.
4. Danny Boyle will now be flavour of the month but most likely reject it and go off to do an small but interesting and yet strangely audience friendly film i.e. a Hollywood film outside Hollywood.
5. Colin Farrell can win awards. Who knew? Good to see. Enjoyable performance in one of our favourite films of the year.
6. So can Woody Allen these days. Could his latest be something to look forward to if its picking up awards stateside. Please God, let it be so. We've missed him so much.
7. Heath Ledger is a shoe-in for an Oscar.
