We just watched this trailer for What Doesn't Kill You and we still have almost no idea what it's about. Not that it's even abstract, oblique or enigmatic, it just seems to be an assembly of random clips. Maybe we weren't paying enough attention.
We do know this much. It's a crime movie, set in Boston, with loads of snow and Ethan Hawke, making a cross between The Depaahted (sic) and Assault On Precinct 13 (the newer, crappier version...which actually wasn't that crap but whatever)
The always impressive Mark Ruffalo is in this but the cast isn't quite as A-list as The Departed or Mytsic Rivah. But then, Gawn Baby Gawn had a humble cast (and Amanda Peet who's in this) and that was pretty ace so we'll give this a chance.
You might argue that we never gave it a chance by slagging off the trailer already but remember, the door's that way. Don't let it hit you on the way out. Who invited you anyway?
