'I Love You Man' Trailer

We have all the time in the world for Paul Rudd. Or at least 2 hours whenever he has a movie out. Lately he's been getting some nice lead roles that are taking him onto the A-list after some standout scene-stealing supporting roles. Recently he had a modest hit in the states with Role Models, which looks all kinds of funny (and profane...which is almost always a kind of funny itself). Now he takes the lead in I Love You Man. We won't explain the plot because, after all, the fuckin trailer is right up there!!

This looks pretty good but it's sailingly dangerously close to chick flick territory and even more worryingly, Rudd is on nice-guy duties taking him dangerously close to his role in Friends as opposed to his role in...well...anything good (Forgetting Sarah Marshall to name just one - hey, let's take this opportunity to mention that Jason Siegel of Sarah Marshall fame is in this too...we like him). Let's hope that, in learning to be mates with a guy, he learns to hang loose and be funny like the Paul Rudd we know and love.
