At last, the trailer to the latest Hayao Miyazaki film that’s just too long to re-write again. There is big love amongst the Movie Watchmen for Miyazaki and his work, if you don’t believe us click here to read one Watchman’s loving tribute to his films. The man has been retiring for ten years now, since ‘Princess Mononokoe’, so every film could be his last film, so we should cherish each new film as if it were a gift.

‘Ponyo’ has all of his trade mark child-like elements which deceptively mask a deeply thematic film. It might be in Japanese and the music might make you say ‘What the fuck is this shit?’ but trust us, watch the footage and watch the films, the man is an animation genius.
