Defiance Trailer

While Daniel Craig isn't banging Bond girls or working out so he gets to look cool while banging Bond girls, he sometimes makes other movies. In this one (let's call it Defiance because, after all, that's what it's called) he plays one of 3 Jewish brothers who fight back against the Germans in World War II. Of course the movie is in English and rather than going down the route of The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas and speaking with outrageously posh British accents, they have elected to put on German/Jewish accents that sound a bit Russian. We can't decide what's more implausible? Suppose you're onto a bit of a loser when you have 300 odd German characters speaking English in the first place.

Anyway, this looks quite good and if it wasn't for the excess of explosions and action we would tip this to be Oscar bait (given the noble cause in World War II) but it just looks like it's a bit broader and bad-ass than that. The academy doesn't like explosions. They're very old and they hurt their ears.
