Well he shook the Hollywood establishment in the 90’s with Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. He made the often overlooked but wonderful Jackie Brown and got all nostalgic for underground cult films and made Kill Bill and Death Proof; and next year he’ll be bringing us Inglorious Bastards. But have you ever heard of My Best Friends Birthday? Made in 1987, this is Tarantino’s first attempt at directing a feature starring the man himself. It’s long, it’s talky, it’s Tarantino.
