Get A Bit Excited About ‘Coraline’
If next summer’s James Cameron film Avatar is not enough reason for Irish cinema owners to pull the finger out regarding 3-D screens take a look at this collaboration between Henry Selick ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ and comic book legend Neil Gaiman entitled ‘Coraline’. If you too found at visuals of ‘Nightmare’ a wonder but the musical numbers a bit dull and if you found the Gaiman scripted ‘Mirrormask’ to have dull human performances but the story exciting, then you do the maths!
‘Coraline’ is the story of a young girl (voiced by Teri Hatcher) who unlocks a secret door, enters a parallel universe and goes on a quest to get back home. Sounds a bit like the Wizard of Oz but how many remakes of Oz have there been? Anything that pours out of the delicious mind of Gaiman is something that we want to see on a 3-D screen and so should you.

I'm now more than a bit excited about this. Looks great.
They said 'gayman'. Snigger.
