First Look at ‘Prince of Persia’ and ‘The Wrestler’

In all fairness, you would think that when Jake Gyllenhaal is starring in his first action blockbuster that he would put in a bit of effort. Just look at him, it’s like he never left McDonald’s… Yes, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit… Jake looks alright in this ‘pap’ shot of him as the ‘Prince of Persia’ which has been pushed back to 2010.


And here is a first look at a battered and bloody Mickey Rourke who plays the wrestler in Darren Aronofsky's inde film of the same name. ‘The Wrestler’ tells the story of an over the hill (yes you guessed it) wrestler who is trying the survive in the brutal and violent world of small time independent wrestling circuit. Sounds Rockyish but it’s Aronofsky and if he keeps to form this will too will be a moody and bold endeavour.
