2 Trailers for 2 Biodocs

Documentaries about the life and times of musicians have been hitting hard and fast in the last few years, Joe Strummer, The Ramones, Scott Walker to name but a few. I'm sure it's been done a million times elsewhere but we're gonna go right ahead and call them biodocs.

Well here are 2 trailers for 2 biodocs about 2 people in the film world (kind of). First up is the story of blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. Most notable feature of the trailer: Brown nosing celebrity cameos that look squeamishly awkward (still, this one looks interesting).



Secondly is the story of the original gonzo journalist Hunter s Thompson who already had a movie detailing a small part of his life in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Most notable feature of the trailer: The inevitable Jonny Depp cameo that doesn't look nearly as awkward as all those in Trumbo because after all, it's Jonny Depp and his middle name is effortlessly cool. It's either that or Francis. We can never remember which.
