So most of us already know that the new Terminator movie is shaping up badly (see the list below) but further news recently broke which just rubs salt in our open wounds (see point 4)
1) It doesn't star Arnie.
2) It's part of 3 planned movies dealing with the war between man and machine that has been referred to/advertised in the first 3 movies. This may sound exciting but really, 3 films just reeks of cashing in and downgrading the franchise to B-grade material.
3)McG is directing it. If you don't know who this guys is, kill yourself now. You will die a happy person. Possibly the biggest ham director working in Hollywood at the moment (though Brett Ratner is currently consulting his lawyers after that statement).
4) Now it's emerging that it will be PG-13. What the fuck!? Is the Terminator going to deliver an ice-cold action-movie one-liner before making his enemies a nice cup of tea and sitting down to discuss their differences? Horseshit. Smoke his ass!
We mentioned in the headline that it might need a miracle to be good. That miracle might be Christian Bale who is inexplicably set to star in this turd*. Godspeed Christian. We hope you get out alive.
*If it turns out to be a masterpiece, we never wrote this post and always knew it would be great.

Some reason why T4 could not be so bad..
1) Christian Bale is in there. How many bad films has he done? Shaft but he was still good. So maybe the script is actually okay.
2) It also stars Josh Brolin, it's he also class.
3) Ah, oh yeah, The Sarah Connor Chronicles are actually pretty good. Don't know how much this will effect the film but maybe, just maybe.
