Watchmen hero, Scott Bakula is back and no this isn't a lame April Fool's joke. If you don't know who Scott Bakula is, you're either too young, too old or too cool to remember Quantum Leap, quite possibly the greatest show of all time...at least according to www.geek.com.
Editors note: We know he was also Star Trek Enterprise but quite frankly, who cares? He will always be Dr. Sam Beckett.
Anyway, he's been cast as one of the leads (yes, you read that right) in the new Steven Soderberg movie 'The Informant', co-starring Matt Damon. The plot of the movie sounds exactly like The Insider so we'd rather you watch that top-class movie rather than have us summarise here. So Scott Bakula takes the Al Pacino role and is an FBI agent instead of a journalist. Quite what Bakula is doing being mentioned in the same paragraph as these illustrious talents is bewildering, considering he's pretty much Z-list. But Bakula is a talented actor and we'll always have a soft spot for him. Question: Did anyone else find it a little disturbing whenever he played a woman in Quantum Leap? And by disturbing I mean strangely arousing.
