Bonkers Movie Of The Week

This is the trailer for Mister Lonely. It's hard to explain what this one's about since it seems downright barmy. It's something to do with celebrity impersonators. Worringly though, it doesn't seem to be a comedy. It's from the writer of Kids and the director of Gummo (the same person of course - Harmony Korine).

There's loads of profound whispering in the trailer, a general tone of portentousness and lines of dialogue that sound like they come from a self-help book Sample: "If you're pure enough, you will fly". And if the first half of the trailer hasn't been barmy enough already, right near the end, the King of Bonkers Werner Herzog shows up for no apparent reason. Still, anything this mad has to be at least interesting.
