Okay we just posted about a film that is incredibly similar to Grosse Pointe Blank only to come accross a story about a film that is a blatant rip off of Mr & Mrs Smith. Are the lawyers in Hollywood all on holidays?
20th Century Fox today optioned a spec script by Alan McElroy about a professional killer who must pose as an ordinary husband in order not to blow his cover and the wife who learns to love him in 'in a totally unexpected way'. Our source suggests that this 'totally unexpected way' may involve killing people. I don't know about you but I'm going off to write a spec script about a simple farm hand who becomes a major player in an intergalactic war against the forces of darkness. It's called Space Wars.
