The Ten Most Memorable Scenes 0f 2008

Is it just us? Are we the only ones who get annoyed when people start doing retrospectives of the year in November and early December. If ever there is a hugely significant world event in the closing days of the year, historians will be baffled if they trawl through reviews of the year only to find no mention of the most important event/news story/film/album/ of the year.
