Idris Elba Can Do Better Than This

For those of you who don't know Idris Elba, he played Stringer Bell in the so-fuckin-good-it-almost-hurts The Wire. After seeing this trailer for Obsessed (Fatal Attraction meets Fatal Attraction with a race card thrown in the deck for good measure) we can't help but feel that he can do a whole lot better. Don't get us wrong, he's the subject of obsession from Ali Larter and he's married to Beyoncé so he's doing okay on the female front, but an actor of such presence and authority should be in movies with A-listers, not fading models who can't act and B-list stalwart Jerry I-used-to-be-fat O'Connell. He should be in Spike Lee movies and Scorcese movies not the latest Fatal Attraction rehash. Movie Gods, sort this one out!
