Here is another animated trailer for your Friday digestion. ‘$9.99’ is the outside contender to be nominated for Best Animated Feature. Since there are only three slots, which everybody predicts will be Wall-E, Kung Fu Panda and Waltz With Bashir, $9.99 looks like it will left out in the cold.

The world of animation is truly expanding year by year and the ‘genre’ stereotype of animated films being cute Disney feature’s with talking animals aimed at children has very surely being blown out of the water. We hope that in the near future the ‘Best Animated Feature’ category will be expanded to five films, simply because a nomination to a struggling production company means a hell of allot to help them survive and create their independent tales.
