We promised last week that we would report any news on the development of the Arrested Development movie (which seems like a paradox of some sort but bare with us). We didn't think news would come as quick and fast as it has and like Guy Ritchie and his wedding vows, we're regretting our promise already.
But anyway, we're men of our word so here goes. The good news is the show’s creator, Mitch Hurwitz, has signed a deal with Fox Searchlight. He will write and direct the movie and Ron Howard the executive producer and narrator of the series has also closed a deal that will see him assist Hurwitz in some way that isn't quite clear at this point.
Stay tuned for more developments. See what we did there?...Whatever I was leaving anyway.

Thanks for the news. I'm glad to hear everyone is returning to make the movie. Here's hoping it builds some momentum and brings the show back.
