‘Last Chance Harvey’ Trailer

Let the Oscar battles commence with this film from British Independent filmmaker, Joel Hopkins. Festival talk on this film has been very promising with mumbling of acting nominations for Hoffman and Thompson. Added to the fact that this warm hearted romantic comedy will get a general release in the States over Christmas, this means that the distributors certainly want it to be considered come nominations time.

It’s almost becoming obligatory that the Oscars now feature an ‘Independent’ quirky comedy which kinda’ takes the fun out of quirky independent comedies. We demand that they be banished to the outer rim of cinema so that we may cherish them with our black-eyed, snooty friends… Ours, all ours, nobody else has seen you but us, and they never will BU HAHAHAHAH!!!
