Special Trailer For Special Movie

If you're gonna call your movie Special you're gonna have to face up to the inevitable jokes about learning disabilities. If you cast Michael Rappaport, a man who sounds mildly retarded at the best of times, then you're just asking for trouble. But we won't resort to the cheap shots here, because, well, we've already made them in a way. A way that makes us feel superior and relatively refined. Don't worry, stay tuned for cheap fat jokes.

Anyway, this movie isn't about special education, it's about a man who is prescribed drugs that give him super powers...or do they? (Hint: they don't. When anybody asks a question like that, the answer is always no). This looks like a great idea for a movie and it definitely has that edgy indy look to it i.e. everything is green. A word of caution though; if you look closely, you'll notice Josh Peck has a small role in this. You'll also notice that he is very much a fat bastard, despite being extremely slim in The Wackness recently. So either he's back on the pies or this movie was made about 4 years ago and has been struggling to get a release. Indeed it premiered at Sundance 2 years ago. It may struggle to get any sort of release this side of the Atlantic but if it does, it looks just about amusing enough to relieve of us of our money.
