And The Award For Most Random But Inspired Idea Goes To

Some extremely odd people have gotten together to make fake ads for John McCain's presidential campaign, which isn't too remarkable in its own right. What makes it relevant to us is that the ads are supposedly made by three famous directors (John Woo, Kevin Smith and Wes Anderson) apparently hired by McCain to spice up his campaign.

Except they're not actually made by the directors. Again, they are fakes. So this clip is definitely a parody of the directors' styles but it's still pretty much unclear whether these guys genuinely support McCain, making it all feel quite pointless but fun. And if we've said it once, we've said it...at least twice , fun is never pointless.

The John Woo one is a little obvious, uninspired and long (and crucially lacking in doves) but the Wes Anderson one is top class. It's at the end so skip forward if you get bored.
