Every day we're hearing about more bastards. It seems half of Hollywood wants to be a bastard and Brad Pitt is going to be the chief bastard.

Yes, Brad Pitt has signed on for Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards in what was Hollywood's worst kept secret since Jake Gyllenhall was discovered to be a hermaphrodite. Wait. That's still a secret? We've said too much.
The rumours were rife over the past few weeks and finally he has put pen to paper to play a Tennessee hillbilly who leads a band of eight Jewish-American soldiers to put some smack down on the Nazis.
In other Inglorious News/Rumours/What's-the-difference-these-days, Simon Pegg is in talks to star. Nastassja Kinski will play a German movie star and Variety is reporting that Tim Roth was in talks to join the cast, but scheduling difficulties prevented it. They also claim that much of the film's dialogue will be in either French or German, with subtitles, although Pitt will speak in English.
Oh and some dude (BJ Novak) from the American Office signed on too.
