For reasons you're about to hear, that headline works on a number of levels. Well, okay, only 2. But 2 is still a number.
You may remember that we reported here that Guy Ritchie is due to make a Sherlock Holmes Movie for the 21st century, as part of his attempted career revival. If entertainment news reports are to believed, his career slump may end up corresponding directly with the length of his marriage to Madonna.
Anyway, in further Sherlock Holmes news, it seems Columbia Pictures are developing a comedy project based on Arthur Conan Doyle's hero and the man himself will be played by Sacha Baron Cohen. It's difficult to understand what has brought on this Holmes frenzy. Has the character recently passed into the public domain. Surely that happened years ago. Anyway, all this buzz is making Sherlock so hot right now. And yes, as promised, for added levels of headline relevance, it seems Will Ferrell, the man who made the 'so hot right now' catchphrase a classic is being lined up to play Watson.
Really the headline should have been simpler. Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen In A Movie Together. But where's the failed attempt at intelligence in that, eh?
