Rogen & Goldberg Strike Back

Rogen-Goldberg. It's just like Lennon-McCartney. Except Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg write foul-mouthed movies about stoners and losers. Except unlike most of those kind of films, they are consistently funny. So today brings confirmation of good news which we reported in brief a while ago.

Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse is a go project. Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg of Superbad and the upcoming Pineapple Express fame, it will star Rogen and Jay Baruchel as two ordinary guys caught up in the End of Days. The film's based on a short that the pair shot together last year (UPDATE: It is in fact a mock trailer for the proposed feature and we've now posted it above...it's funny) and will be produced by Rogen and Goldberg. No word on a director but be sure of this Superbad + The Apoclaypse = Superlypse (or something kickass like that).
