Tom Cruise is Still Ethan Hunt – Maybe

There’s been rumbling on the net over the past week that another Mission Impossible film could be put into production. Today’s Variety report’s that Viacom head honcho Sumner Redstone is okay with Tom Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunk despite been booted out of the Paramount lot back in 2006.

Mission Impossible has been an absolute cash cow for Paramount, despite being over-hyped and at times self indulgent, and the penny counter’s are hardly going to let a profitable franchise die just because of some bad blood.

I hope Tom remembers wipes the blood off that knife he found in his back when he hands it back to old Sunmer.
