Here's some quick news bits:

- See here for a first look at Benicio Del Toro playing the role he was born for in Steven Sodebergh's double-bill biopic of Che Guevara

- Brad Pitt's name is being linked with the role of Thor. We'll believe it when we see it. I think he learned his lesson with Troy and Thor only has one letter in the difference. We can only guess that this is how stars choose their roles. Also, this movie no longer has a director now that Matthew Vaughan's contract ran out without production commencing.

- Bruce Willis is being linked to the role of Hannibal in the A-Team. See here for our thoughts on that movie. We won't even believe when we see it cause that movie won't happen for abuot 20 years when Bruce Willis is dead from whatever STD he caught from banging Lindsay Lohan).

- The planned adaptation of Spaced for American TV that we talked about here, is no longer going ahead (wahey) because the executives woke up and realised McG was a fuckin tool. End of story.

- David O. Russell's latest pic Nailed has been halted due to cash problems surrounding money paid to the various unions and guilds. Whatever. Russell is a complete psycho (see funny evidence below) so we're guessing he has decided that unions are the work of the devil and shouldn't be supported. Don't mess with the Teamsters David! Didn't you see Hoffa?!
