Eddie Murphy's output this century has been similar to the output of my nephew's nappy. Whatever happened to the person who used to be...well...funny. Actually, his presence in a movie is quite helpful. It's like a big sign post that says, avoid like the plague.
If we were to tell you that he was gonna star in a remake of The Incredible Shrinking Man you'd probably see is as one of those signs. If we were to tell you that Brett Ratner is set to direct you might gouge out your eyeball to end any remote chance you'd have of accidentally seeing this movie.
A lot of bloggers rag on Ratner and in some ways it's unfair. In other ways...fuck him! This is the guy who in a secret poll of actors and directors was named the biggest hack director in Hollywood. We all know that Hollywood is full of sycophants who bitch in private (see Brett Ratner engaging in it above and below). This poll guaranteed respondent's anonymity so the moral of the story is Brett Ratner sucks and this movie should be mercy killed.
