We're Boycotting The Iron Man Publicity Drip-feed
In the last few days there has been a steady flow of clips, posters, stills and new versions of the trailer for Iron Man.
The latest is a 2 minute scene from the movie along with 6 (yes 6!) other videos from the movie. We're not going to post it, because quite frankly, we're sick of studios drip-feeding us publicity material and expecting to cream ourselves. Give us the movie and we'll judge it on its merits. We're not gonna march to your tune like puppets. If you want the clip it's easy to find. We are excited about Iron Man but that will only last so long. Don't push us!
The good people over at The Onion are running a story that "the studio plans to adapt the wildly popular Iron Man trailer into a feature-length motion picture". What a novel idea. These clips are so popular. They should totally make a movie.
(Editors Note: Feel free to stick in The Incredible Hulk or Speed Racer instead of Iron Man to keep this story updated and relevant for the next few weeks)
